Welcome to Junior Cats
Junior Cats is a basketball program for boys and girls living in Southeast Fort Collins, Colorado. It is the goal of the program to have players playing together as young as possible for as many years as possible. Program is open to boys and girls in 5th-8th grades. Advance skilled 4th graders are welcome to tryout as well.RMYS has managed the Junior Cat Boys teams since 2008-09 season, and girls since 2009-10 seasons. Junior programs are not affiliated or sponsored by a high school or school district.
2011-12 Boys Team Tryouts are complete
Tryouts are complete for boys. We do have spots for a few qualified 7th grade boys. Call Shannon at 970-980-3164 immediately if interested. Team rosters are posted on the 2011-12 Boys Teams webpage (also see left menu).

- Keep learning about the junior program. Move around our website to learn about current teams, FAQ, and everything you can about the Junior Program.
- Work on your basketball game! Whether you are on a team now or not, continue to practice your fundamental basketball skills OUTSIDE of organized team practices. During team practices little time can be spent focusing on individual fundamental basketball skills - so personal time in the gym is necessary! To stand out at tryouts, you need to be doing MORE basketball preparation than others!
- Tell your friends! We appreciate your help in spreading the word! The more players that come to tryouts, the better the competition and the better the whole team is.
